Transfer to Thekkady, Drive through one of those most picturesque hill highways of Kerala. Thekkedy, also known as periyar is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and one of the 48 Tiger reserves in India . On arrival check in At Hotel. Afternoon proceed for 1½-hour game viewing cruise around the Periyar Lake which is the main way to tour the sanctuary. It is very close to harbor of Vizhinjam and is a network of lagoons, lakes, canals, estuaries, deltas, interspersing forty-four rivers that join the Arabian Sea and over night stay at hotel
After breakfast proceed for local sight seeing. Poovar in Trivandrum is unspoilt and unseen. From the beautiful backwaters to the sandy beach and the sea, Poovar offers the best of everything you could ask for on your holiday! Originally a fishing village, Poovar can be reached only through water. The beach is clean and beautiful however, there are no water sports or beach leisure activities in Poovar because of the fishing activities. and over night stay at hotel
