Day 1
Hanoi arrival

Arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Afternoon- Museum of Ethnology, among the finest of Vietnam's museums.

From here, enjoy a one hour cyclo tour of Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the focal point of the city.

Late afternoon- Thang Long Water Puppet Show that no one should miss while visiting Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2
Hanoi – Halong Bay

8:30 am – drive on a private vehicle and arrive at the jetty around 12:30 pm.

Enjoy a welcome drink, check-in to your cabin.

With a fresh seafood lunch, begin the 3.5 hours cruise through mystic Halong Bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: Mat Qui (Monster's face) islet, But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong (Drum) cave, Trinh Nu cave, floating fishing village, with its unique way of life.

Then head to Luon cave, enjoy swimming, sun bathing at Ti Top beach or climb the peak of the mountain for a breath-taking panorama view of Halong Bay.

Enjoy another seafood feast for dinner. Option for night fishing for those interested.

Overnight on the junk.

Day 3
Halong Bay – Hanoi

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emeraude water of the bay.

After breakfast, you explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax at Soi Sim beach. The boat cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served. Your boat arrives at the harbor by noon. Rejoin your car drive back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4
Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City

Morning city tour- drive to Ho Chi Minh's complex, including the mausoleum of the nation's founder and leader.

The Presidential Palace and Uncle Ho's wooden stilt house can also be seen here. One of must-see places in the complex is the One Pillar pagoda dating back to the 11th century.

The next stop is the Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam's oldest university and dedicated to one of the world's most famous scholars, Confucius. Inside the temple grounds, huge steles rest on the backs of even larger stone turtles (in Vietnam's culture, the turtle represents longevity). The stele recorded the names of the successful candidates who later became mandarins in the Emperor's court.

You will be greeted by your guide upon arrival at HCMC's Tan Son Nhat International airport.

You will then be escorted to your hotel in town for a three-night stay. You’ll then have a relaxing overnight stay in HCMC.

Day 5
Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel

In the morning, visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. If desired, you can also visit the moving War Remnants Museum. You’ll also be able to explore colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's main shopping boulevard with shops selling clothes and accessories by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and housewares.

In the afternoon you will take a drive to visit Cu Chi tunnels - At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam American must have been like.

Back to HCMC. At leisure.

Overnight in HCMC.

Day 6
Mekong Delta Exploring

You will leave HCMC to lush My Tho where you'll cruise on a private boat through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where you are treated to a delicious lunch in a local restaurant in the heart of the Mekong, complete with tropical fruits.

You will also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine and visit VinhTrang pagoda.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7
Departure

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have free time until transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
